Wendy Hathcock

Receptionist

Wendy has been with Wayside since 1993. She enjoys spending time with her husband Anthony and her daughter Selena. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs Brita, Misty, and Weebles.

Sandra Reaves

Receptionist

Sandra has been with us since 2000. She has woked in the veterinary field for several years.  She enjoys going to the beach and taking care of her two dogs. In her spare time she has been remodeling her house.

Denice Westplate

Receptionist

Denice has been with us since 1989. she works at the hospital on a part time basis now, so that she can help her husband Lorin with his business, Westplate Marine. In her spare time she enjoys baking, gardening, cooking, crafts, and sewing. We like the cooking/baking part which she shares with us regularly.

Lori Templeton

Technician

Lori has been with us since 2001. She is a technician, our pharmacy/ordering manager, and also grooms here on Thursdays. She spends her spare time with her family and her many pets: 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 4 birds. Also, she usually raises a baby deer every year since she is certified for wildlife rehabilitation.

Tamara Angle

Technician

Tamara has been here since 2000 and is a veterinary technician. She enjoys making people laugh and loves taking care of your pets. She has 4 small, 4-legged "children: of her own, Ruby, Reno, Cricket, and Bobbie Reid. Tamara enjoys going to concerts and the beach in her spare time.

Brooke Truett

Technician

Brooke has been at Wayside since May, 2004. She is attending nursing school at CACC. She loves taking care of your pets. She also takes care of the weekend boarders and does playtime with those who would like extra special attention. In her spare time she loves taking care of her special iguana, Iggy.

Tony McKeel

Assistant

Tony has been with the practice since 2001. He currently attends Benjamin Russell High School, working part time and during breaks. Tony is a member of the show choir, plays trumpet in the band, and loves to be on stage and perform. He enjoys meeting new people and taking care of your animals. In his spare time he enjoys being out on the lake, road trips, movies, and hanging out with friends.

Carrie Jones

Carrie graduated from Central Alabama Community College in the spring of 2006. She will be attending college at Auburn University. She loves all animals, dogs and horses in particular. She has been with us since the spring of 2006.

Larry McKinney

Kennel Supervisor

Larry has been working with us since 1996 and is a joy to have around. He is great with all the animals; they love him. He gets to do playtime with the boarders when the stay.
