Wayside Animal Hospital offers your pets all the preventative, diagnostic, surgical, and emergency services they need to share a long life with you. Our standard service includes:

Annual Heath Screens- As part of your pet's annual vaccination program, we will give your pet a thorough physical exam.

Pet Dental Program- A major part of your pet's health is oral and dental hygiene. If your pet is 3 years or older, he already has tartar and plaque build-up on his teeth and probably needs a dental cleaning.

Senior Care Program- Today, people live longer, healthier lives than they typically did years ago. In large, part that's due to a better understanding of the importance of factors that can influence ageing, such as preventative health care and nutrition. Similarly, the dogs and cats that make up such an important part of our lives are also living longer, healthier lives.

Allergy Testing- Did you know that approximately 1 out of 10 pets suffer from allergies? The symptoms, however, are not quite the same as in humans. The most common sign of allergy in dogs and cats is itching, manifested by scratching, rubbing, licking, and chewing. In some cases, vomiting and diarrhea may be present. In many cases, cats will develop skin lesions without associated itching. 

Holistic Consults-We have a referral holistic practice and offer these services for our regular clients as well as those from out of town.  Please let us know if you prefer an holistic approach. We also do nutritional consultation in addition to acupuncture, chiropractics,  Chinese herbal, and limited homeopathic medicine.
